COMMUNITY PUBLISHING
RE-AUTHORING our stories in the LANDSCAPE
What happens when we create spaces to re-author ourselves, our stories and our rural landscapes? We work with people to reclaim and publish their own stories through slow, nature-based creative practices. Our work is slow, questioning, sensory and grounded in the land. We are building a rural archive of lived experience, co-creating books and community-held resources.
Through movement, bushcraft, and storytelling, we explore environmental prompts and reflect through creativity and connection. Join us as we build a rural archive together.
We share our learning through consultations, training and collaborative knowledge‑making, offering organisations and communities practical tools for embedding care, land‑based thinking and inclusive practice. This helps others grow approaches that support belonging, creativity and access in rural landscapes.
We work with land, rivers, communities and more-than-human worlds. Our developing principles guide how we listen, gather, create and share, making space for belonging, creativity and care in rural landscapes.

Queering the Wye brings LGBTQIA+ people together through creativity, movement, nature and community across the rural Welsh-English borderlands. We co-create workshops, outdoor gatherings, zines and lots of different types of resources. We create spaces for connection, belonging and sharing our stories about rural life.
